Happy Birthday Gabe!!!!

He's one!!!! My baby turned one! Wow - this year has FLOWN!! He has proved himself to be quite the trooper :)

He is progressing amazingly well in regards to his burn (we went to an outpatient burn appointment yesterday). He gets to switch to shorts and socks as opposed to the full zip up pants he was wearing. He's standing up and cruising along everything - still crawls a little silly, but therapy is totally unconcerned. He still despises doctors with a passion, but is becoming a tiny less dependent on me being with him every second - sometimes. Yesterday, on the way home from SLC, he enjoyed a long game of hide and seek/peek a boo with Jacob. It is so fun to see him interacting with Emily and Jacob!!

He also went to his 1 year old well baby visit today. He weighs 19 pounds 10 ounces (up 2 ounces from his 9 month WBV - 20 percentile) and is 28 1/2 inches (25 percentile). He's still nursing like a champ :) Doctor says he looks healthy, but wishes he was a little bigger. Quite reminiscent of Emily at this age. His ped seems to know I'm not the kind of mom that says "Yes Sir" to everything he says just b/c he's a doctor. It's a relief to not have to fight this ped on some of our parenting choices :)

So happy birthday to my baby boy!!! Hope everyone's June 10th was sunny (unlike ours lol)!!
